You may have already heard through our social media and boutique newsletter, that our very popular nurse practitioner will soon be launching some new aesthetic treatments in the boutique.
Deso Fat Dissolving Injections and Non Surgical Rhinoplasty. Emma’s treatment list already offers a wide range of popular and sought after procedures which have become much loved by our clients, but her treatment list keeps growing. Yay!
Now you may think that these types of aesthetic treatments are not quite for you but with Emma’s calming and professional approach its hard not to become intrigued and left wanting to know more.
To give you some idea on the new treatments she will be offering, we have broken them down to give you the answers to the questions you may like to know.
What are Deso Fat Dissolving Injections?
It’s a simple case of,whats the saying?…’it does what it says on the tin’. These injections are administered to an area of the body, or face, where common stubborn fatty deposits reside where it will then destroy (dissolve) the fat cells. This will then cause the fat cells to break down and they are then removed naturally through the body through the lymphatic system.
What areas can be treated?
Areas of the body may include, abdomen, flanks, underarms, inner knees, upper and lower arms, bra fat and inner thighs. These tend to be the common areas of stubborn fat.
Areas of the face may include, double chins, jowls and neck fat.
Results and side effects?
Results of course will very from patient to patient but generally results are seen 2 to 3 weeks after the treatment. Sometimes a course of treatments may be required to achieve the optimal fat reduction and the results can be kept at bay and made permanent, like a lot of treatments, with the help of a sensible lifestyle!
After having the treatment, the side effects are minimal. They may include some initial redness, localised swelling, bruising, tenderness and sensitivity to the treated area, but the client should be able to continue with their day to day activities with no interference.
What is Non Surgical Rhinoplasty?
Some of you may have already guessed, but this is a non invasive alternative to a ‘nose job’. Usually this would be a surgical procedure which has been popular in the past, and I believe can be quite painful while recovering….
With this non invasive procedure, there’s no need to go under the knife, our nurse practitioner will inject a variety of dermal fillers to carefully reshape, re-balance and/or resize the nose. A quick procedure with no down time (recovery time) or bandages. Instant results, yes please.
What can be corrected?
- A bump or ‘hook’ on the bridge of the nose
- A crooked nose
- A flat or low bridge
- An asymmetrical nose
Results and side effects?
Again results will differ from patient to patient but typically results can last from 12-18 months. As the nose is an area that we tend not to move as much this helps for longer lasting results. With repeat treatments, the results can last even longer!
Like with all injections there can be some initial redness, tenderness, swelling and bruising which all generally go within a matter of days.
Are both treatments safe?
The answer is…YES!
